Schwartz. A Midland native, Schwartz initially pursued aeronautical engineering before discovering his passion for architecture at the University of Michigan, embracing the Bauhaus principles of functionality, simplicity, and harmony with nature. After graduating, Schwartz returned home to Midland, honing his skills by apprenticing with prominent local architects Bob Goodall and Glenn “Red” Beach- both alumni of the celebrated Alden B.
